WTO Public Forum 2025: Digital tech and sectoral agreements reorganising global trade

The National Board of Trade Sweden will take part in the World Trade Organization's Public Forum 2025. Our senior trade adviser Felinda Wennerberg will speak about trade-related agreements, including their challenges and benefits.

The seminar explores how artificial intelligence (AI), digital services, and trade facilitation tools are transforming trade participation and production networks. Drawing on the forthcoming Global Value Chain Development Report 2025, it examines the implications for inclusion, industrial policy, and governance – especially for developing economies.

As new industrial strategies, investment flows, and digital trade arrangements shape the future, the seminar will ask: Can trade rules keep up - and who gets to shape them?
