Report a trade barrier
When exporting to the EU, you may encounter obstacles that make trade more complicated and expensive. They are often referred to as “trade barriers”. Such barriers can take many forms, and the problems may stem from the EU as well as from the exporting country.
Some of the most common barriers to trade are:
- technical barriers to trade (technical regulations, administrative and other non-compulsory provisions)
- dumped and subsidised imports
- quantitative import restrictions (quotas)
- complicated procedures for the registration of a new business.
If you experience problems when trying to export to Sweden, you can reach out to us. Any obstacle reported to Open Trade Gate Sweden is analysed. Should we find that a requirement or procedure is unjust or too bureaucratic, we try to solve the problem by contacting the relevant authorities in Sweden.
