The trade policy programme: Trade Academy
Trade Academy is a one-year training programme organised by the National Board of Trade, focusing on trade policy. The participants are primarily public sector officials in developing countries. They work with trade policy issues at the level of, for example, ministries and authorities.
Trade Academy aims to provide participants with increased knowledge and working methods for trade policy analysis. Sustainability and the civil servants' perspectives run as overarching perspectives throughout the training. The programme is conducted in two phases, both under normal circumstances in Stockholm. Between these phases, the participants work on an assignment.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the programme has been carried out in a digital environment.
